This is A nge Ma (pronounced Awe nay ma). Her father would send her out to beg on the streets. When she came back with little money or refused to go, she’d get a heated knife to her feet.
These are the kids we help in Northern Thailand. I hope to see here again next month.
In 2009 we took these kids that were begging on the street (Burmese Refugee boys in Mae Sot, Thailand) and fed them, de-liced them and gave them mohawk haircuts (per their request). This was the result. Sooooo fun! Hope to see these same kids in a month when we send another team!
We still need your help. Help get us there by donating even $5, $10, $25! It all helps….
